Strain origin – Cambodian cubensis a very well domesticated classic Cubensis hails from the northwest Cambodia region. Rumored to have been retrieved by an anonymous Mycologist in the foothills of the second largest city in Cambodia, Krong Siem Reap near Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is the largest religious complex on the planet.

No surprise to mushroom enthusiasts the significance of these occurrences.

• Microscopy features – Purplish brown spores.  Spores measure 7 x 12 micrometers. This variety Cambodian cubensis discharges spores during sporulation. Microscopes and magnification equipment are recommended for viewing microscopic features.
