Wild & Landrace

The Spore Co-Op offers a carefully selected range of wood-loving Psilocybe spore prints. These prints come from wild and landrace genetics, collected through field experts and trusted mycologists. Each one is chosen for its purity, origin, and rarity.

Wood-loving species grow in natural, woody environments. They include legendary mushrooms like Psilocybe azurescens, Psilocybe cyanescens, Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata, and Psilocybe allenii. These mushrooms are known for their rich traits, powerful properties, and unique spore structures.

We also carry Exotic Spores from species beyond the cubensis world. These include Panaeolus cyanescens, Panaeolus cambodginiensis, and other rare tropical fungi. They are perfect for those looking to expand their microscopy studies.

Whether you study forest-dwelling Psilocybes or rare tropical strains, our spore prints give you access to some of the most fascinating fungi on Earth.

  • Psilocybe subaeruginosa mushrooms have a conical to convex, tacky, yellow-brown to orange-brown cap that stains blue-green when handled, with veil remnants when young. The slender, whitish stem also stains blue-green and has fine vertical lines and a mealy upper portion. They have moderately close, pale brown to violet-brown gills that are adnate or adnexed, and the overall flesh is whitish and stains blue-green. Cap: Shape: Starts conical, then becomes convex, often with a slight upturn or a small central bump (umbo). Color: Yellow-brown to orange-brown, paler near the edges, which may have faint, wavy lines (striate). Texture: Slightly sticky (tacky). Veil: May show remnants of a white veil when young. Staining: Stains greenish blue with age or when touched. Gills: Color: Pale smoky brown when young, changing to violet-brown or a brownish fuscous color as they age. Attachment: Attached to the stem (adnate or broadly adnexed). Spacing: Moderately close together. Stem (Stipe): Size: Tall and slender, usually 25–70 mm long and 2–3.5 mm in diameter. Appearance: Finely lined vertically and mealy at the top. Staining: Stains greenish blue when damaged or handled. Base: The base might be slightly swollen or show a mass of mycelium. Flesh: Color: Whitish, but it will stain greenish blue when cut or bruised.
