Psilocybe Subtropicalis is a subtropical mushroom species in the Hymenogastraceae family. Native to warm, humid regions, this species thrives in challenging conditions and is valued for its distinctive morphology and resilience. The Sempriva strain, carefully developed through isolation techniques, is known for its consistent performance and genetic stability. First identified in Mexico, Ps. Subtropicalis was officially described by renowned mycologist Gastón Guzmán in 1995.

Gill Formation
Gills typically range from medium to large and display a wide variety of formations. They are likely to have available gills for spore production, and this variety actively discharges spores.

Microscopy Features
This strain produces purple spores measuring approximately 7 x 12 micrometers. Spore discharge is abundant, making it an excellent specimen for microscopic study. Using microscopes or other magnification tools is recommended to observe the fine features of this mycelium.
