Oak Ridge – Isolated Spore Syringe

Oak Ridge is a documented regional lineage linked to Tennessee’s Oak Ridge locale. Early field notes associate this lineage with oak-rich habitats, and it’s preserved for its recognizable, classic macromorphology under magnification.

  • Origin & Background – Community-documented from the Oak Ridge area (Tennessee); archived for reference as a classic regional entry.

  • Macromorphology (Microscopy Focus)Deep-brown cap tones with potential for larger cap profiles; medium-to-broad gill structures present cleanly on slides for comparative study.

  • Microscopic FeaturesPurple-brown spores, typically around ~7 × 12 µm. Field notes indicate moderate visible spore release; the isolated syringe format supports consistent slide preparation and documentation.

  • Preparation & Quality – Produced in sterile conditions under UPLA filtration and suspended in an aqueous medium for microscopy.

  • Research & Collectibility – A legacy regional entry valued for taxonomy notes, phenotype comparisons, and archival catalogs.

The isolated spore syringe was great there was plenty of material in the syringe, it arrived in a very timely manner, and performed beautifully. I could not be happier. I would recommend Basidium Equilibrium to anyone interested in mushrooms, spores, or any research in this arena.
