Koh Samui Classic, or KSC, is a famous Psilocybe cubensis strain from the tropical island of Koh Samui, Thailand. Citizen mycologist John Allen first documented this strain in the 1990s. The mushrooms thrive in Koh Samui’s humid forests and are known for their deep, rich cap color and classic “toadstool” shape.

These spores and identified a striking phenotype. As a result, KSC combines tropical resilience with exceptional visual appeal, making it a favorite for microscopy research and collectors alike.
