Strain Origin & Background – The BAPER RUST strain is a rare Psilocybe cubensis discovered during pheno-hunting at Basidium Labs. While studying Blue APE Revert (BAPER) and its non-rust counterpart, Bas noticed a light sky-blue mushroom with golden-brown spores. This unique combination set it apart from standard BAPER specimens.

Recognized for its distinctive spore coloration and reliable visual markers, it serves as a strong reference specimen for microscopy, taxonomy, and archival records.
