Albino Melmac – Spore Swab
Strain Origin – Albino Melmac, sometimes referred to as “Homestead Penis Envy,” traces its history back to the Homestead Book Company. Known for publishing influential mycology texts and offering mushroom grow kits, Homestead was a cornerstone of the fungi community until closing in 2017 after 45 years of operation.
In the early 1980s, Rich Gee first discovered the legendary “Penis Envy” from an Amazonian cubensis strain, and this lineage has continued to evolve ever since.
Background – This Albino Melmac carries the distinctive traits associated with the original “Silver Surfer,” while being preserved and brought forward by Bas. Known for its dense morphology and unique albino expression, Albino Melmac remains one of the most striking and collectible cubensis varieties available today.
