Albino Gorilla is a unique albino expression from the Gorilla genetic line, a cross originally created from Koh Samui Classic and Albino Penis Envy.
The Gorilla line began as a preservation effort. Both parent cultures were slow, heavily bottlenecked, and close to being lost. In a final attempt to preserve their genetic value, Bas crossed the two lines, and from that effort, Gorilla was born.
The original Gorilla expression was a short, stout, brown-capped mushroom with a toadstool-like appearance. Over time, the line continued to shift and reveal new traits, eventually producing the albino expression now known as Albino Gorilla.
This release represents more than visual novelty. It reflects the resilience of fungal genetics, the importance of preservation work, and the strange beauty that can emerge when two struggling lines are brought together.
